Physical AI Powered by the grid

Unleash the
low-altitude economy.

FlyX enables drones to recharge from powerline infrastructure and autonomously inspect critical assets for longer, more persistent missions.

A physical AI company

We turn existing power infrastructure into a distributed energy network for autonomous drones.

FlyX enables drones to draw energy from powerline infrastructure while using onboard autonomy to inspect, detect, and respond in real time.

01
Existing infrastructure
Powerline corridors already span the environments utilities need to monitor.
02
Continuous power
FlyX harvests energy from electromagnetic fields around power lines.
03
Endless flight
Drones can remain deployed longer without returning to fixed charging stations. Beyond visual line of sight.
04
Onboard Autonomy
Edge AI detects hazards, prioritizes events, and supports real-time response.
How it works

Power from the grid.
Intelligence on board.

FlyX combines electromagnetic energy harvesting near power lines with onboard physical AI. The system is designed to extend drone mission duration while enabling real-time data intelligence and response without relying on fixed charging stations.

01
Harvest Energy Near the Line
The drone captures energy from electromagnetic fields around energized powerline infrastructure.
02
Indefinite Mission Duration
By replenishing energy during deployment, FlyX reduces returns to base and enables more persistent operations.
03
Detect and Respond Autonomously
Onboard AI identifies infrastructure defects, vegetation risks, and emerging hazards, then prioritizes events for operators.

What it unlocks

A persistent fleet for the work that keeps the world running.

FlyX is built for the energy industry first, where unplanned outages, storms, and wildfire risk make round-the-clock eyes on the grid mission-critical.

Initial market
Powerline corridor
Powerline inspection
Continuously inspect conductors, insulators, towers, and rights-of-way without dispatching crews for every routine survey.
Wildfire near a powerline
Wildfire prevention
Spot the line faults and hot spots that start fires before they ignite, protecting lives, property, and revenue.
Vegetation management near power lines
Vegetation management
Identify encroachment risk earlier and prioritize high-risk spans for maintenance crews.
Storm-damaged power line
Grid resilience
Assess storm damage and service interruptions faster across difficult-to-access corridors.
The opportunity

The low-altitude economy is the next great infrastructure layer.

Energy and autonomy have capped what drones could do. Remove both, and a market worth hundreds of billions opens up across energy, public safety, logistics, and surveillance. FlyX builds the power layer that makes it real, and is already working with National Laboratories and major U.S. utilities to prove it.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Does harvesting energy from our lines affect grid reliability or power quality?

FlyX captures a small portion of the electromagnetic energy that already radiates around energized lines, energy that would otherwise dissipate and go to waste. Harvesting is non-contact, with no physical connection to the line, so it has no measurable effect on grid operation or power quality.

How do you fly beyond visual line of sight, and is it approved?

FlyX is built for persistent, beyond-visual-line-of-sight operation and works within the FAA's framework for autonomous flight near infrastructure. We're happy to walk through our current approvals and regulatory roadmap directly.

What do we have to install, and how does it fit our existing systems?

Nothing to install: FlyX charges from your existing lines, so there are no fixed charging stations or grid modifications. Findings are delivered as an AI-as-a-service subscription that integrates with the tools you already use, like Esri ArcGIS.

Are your drones NDAA and Buy American Act (BAA) compliant?

Yes. Our drones and their critical components are manufactured in the U.S. and allied countries, satisfying NDAA and Buy American Act (BAA) requirements and keeping the supply chain free of prohibited foreign-sourced hardware.

How proven is this, and who have you worked with?

We're already working with National Laboratories and major U.S. utilities to prove the technology in the field. Our platform is built with partners including NVIDIA and Esri.
